锅盔

First Saturday of July is a go! The lady friend had weekend work this morning and we biked together to her office to catch a late breakfast before she went in. To go along with our coffees, she introduced me to 锅盔 (guōkuī), meaning a crusty pancake. This morning’s variant of it contained beef and was delicious AF.

  1. Never tried 锅盔 but it looks interesting! What kind of coffee did you get? I think I’ve only been to Pacific Coffee once, at the top of the peak in HK.

    1. I had my coffee the only way I love it. In the words of Dale Cooper, “I’ll have my coffee black like midnight on a moonless night.” ☕☕

      1. If it make it myself, I always add milk but no sugar.. If I buy one outside, I get a mocha – which completely defeats the purpose of me not having sugar at home 😂
