The Colbert Questionert

After enjoying reading Sylvia's answers and diving down the rabbit hole of other folks answering it on their blogs, I'm throwing my hat into the ring!

1. What's the best sandwich?
I will never not be excited for a grilled cheese sandwich.

2. What was your first concert?
It was KIISS-FM's Wango Tango 1999 concert. I was a kid going with my brother and dad and it was an insane lineup: Ricky Martin, Britney Spears, Will Smith, 98 Degrees, Blondie, UB40, Shaggy, Nancy Sinatra, Enrique Iglesias, MC Hammer and a few other performers that I don't know who they are.

3. What's one thing you own that you really should throw out?
All the clothes where I bought two pairs of "just in case".

4. What is the scariest animal?
Bears. Ever see Grizzly Man?

5. Apples or oranges?
Apples. With the peeling, sticky fingers... oranges are a lot for me. An apple? I pick it up and go! And people look cool coming into a room or observing something while snacking on an apple.

6. Have you ever asked someone else for their autograph?
I don't think so.

7. What do you think happens when we die?
I don't know, but definitely something. Our family lived in a house for a few years where many strange, spooky things happened, including my brother and I hearing a little girl's voice in front of us in our bedroom.

8. Favorite action movie?
Raiders of the Last Ark. Also my favorite movie in general.

9. Window or aisle?
Aisle. I accept all the free beers on flights, which mean frequent pee missions.

10. Favorite smell?
Passing by a bread factory. The best!

11. Least favorite smell?
Metro subway elevators in Los Angeles.

12. Exercise: worth it?
Absolutely. From morning planks and stretches, to the gym, to cycling, I owe exercise a lot for a healthy mental and physical state.

13. Earliest memory?
Halloween where toddler Vince was Mickey Mouse.

14. Cats or dogs?
Cats, even though I like dogs too. It may be a situation of wanting something I can't have since I am allergic to cats, but I also think cats are awesome.

15. Flat or sparkling?
I like both, but if I have to choose, it's flat all the way.

16. You get one song to listen to for the rest of your life: what is it?
It would have to be my favorite song, Year of the Cat by Al Stewart .

17. What number am I thinking of?
Seven!

18. Describe the rest of your life in 5 words.
Every setback teaches something valuable.
